Jim Bose

Jim Bose has been working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Soft Tissue Recovery Specialist since 2006.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Cornell College, IA, where he played baseball for four years and was a three-time captain.  After college, Jim began working fulltime as a Strength and Conditioning Coach in Professional Baseball with the Seattle Mariners.  He also worked part time in his hometown of Lincolnshire as a Personal Trainer.

After working with the Seattle Mariners, Jim accepted the same role with the San Francisco Giants Baseball Organization.  He would spend the next few years with the Giants working full time to improve athletic performance and reduce injuries of its athletes.  Jim worked with all levels of the organization allowing him to understand what it takes for young athletes to peruse their big league dream.

In 2013 Jim left baseball to move back to Chicago and peruse his passion of creating his own training and recovery programs.  Jim has been continuously improving his education and knowledge of training and recovery.  He attends regular seminars and certification courses to provide state of the art training for his clients.  Some courses include: The Soma Institute for Clinical Massage Therapy, Stretch To Win Fascial Stretch Therapy, Poliquin International Coaching Programs, International Cupping Therapy, Precision Nutrition and United States Weightlifting Seminars to name a few.

Throughout his career, Jim has worked with a wide range of athletes and clients to help them achieve their health and fitness goals.  He has worked with professional athletes from the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL and PGA along with may collegiate and high school level athletes. Jim designs his programs based off individual assessments and scientific data tailored to each athlete or client. This approach has helped his athletes and clients reach their fitness and athletic potential while diminishing the risks for any injuries. His focus on the individual and their needs to perform at the highest level, have allowed Jim to create the best program for that client or athlete.
